It's that time of year when I dust off (metaphorically of course) this journal and try to use it for summer accountability once again. So, what do I hope to accomplish?
Writing:
Scholarship:
1. the self-efficacy project really depends so much on John. Will meet with him after Memorial day.
2. proposal for the professional tutors' book due 5/15.
3. Contact WLN mentor shortly.
4. Contact 4Cs co-panelists.
5. Do something with the conference paper on Penny Dreadful?
6. Mieville project probably sits again, but may age out. Find out what's been written.
Mystery:
1. walking tours, old Merchant's House.
2. background reading.
3. continue exercises.
4. continue writing.
NOTE: Sadly, April 9, 2017 To-Do is still mostly To-Do.
Fanfic:
1. Am I burning out, a little? I'm quite good, but so worried about crowd pleasing. But so many folks like what they like and it's less about quality.
2. Finish picaresque
3. Prodigal Father
4. Clem story? Do I care enough?
5. Try some monthly challenges.
Reading:
1. Work my way through the rest of my Writing Center Studies collection.
2. Work my way through Cross-Talk in Comp Theory and Norton Book of Composition Studies.
3. Read mysteries thoughtfully for plot.
4. Read NY:2340 by KSR
